92 days to go to National Insect Week

Coatham Stob Field Trip

Friday, June 24, 2016 - 10:30

Join the North East Branch on field trip to see the day-flying Forester moth, grassland butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies.

The Forester is an uncommon day-flying moth, whose larvae feed on Common Sorrel.  We also expect to see a range of grassland butterflies and an inspection of the ponds should additionally provide opportunities to see and identify dragonflies and damselflies.

Meet at 10.30am in the car park at Grid ref: NZ394155, nearest postcode TS21 1DP.

Bring a packed lunch.
