National Insect Week returns in 2018

Ely Wildspace BioBlitz 2016

Friday, July 1, 2016 - 17:00 to Saturday, July 2, 2016 - 17:00

We invite you come along and discover the diversity of life on our doorstep!

We aim to find as many species as we can in 24 hours, with the help of YOU and our wildlife experts. There are many activities throughout the 24 hours for you to book onto, including bat walks, bird walks, wildlife craft activities and much more.

Each one will help you find out more about the plants and animals that live right under our noses, under our feet or over our heads… See how many you can identify by the end of the BioBlitz. Events are free and most are suitable for all ages.

Most events are pre-bookable through Eventbrite, although a number of activities will be held in Pocket Park at our Base-camp. These you can just drop in on throughout the day.
