Field trip to Haddon Hill & Moor

The Heath Fritillary is the target species at Haddon Hill.  Situated above Wimbleball Reservoir, it also has Large and Small Skipper, Green Hairstreak and Small Heath amongst its resident species.

Haddon Moor is a Butterfly Conservation Reserve holding wet grassland with Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary and it has considerable botanical interest.

Meet at 11.00 am in the parking area on the north side of the B3190 at grid reference SS 979 285.  Stout footwear is recommended.
