Field trip to Landford Bog & Hale Purlieus

This is a South Wiltshire Group trip to look for Silver-studded Blue butterflies just inside the New Forest, on the Hampshire Border. It is an unusual acid-based habitat for Wiltshire - be prepared for squelchy surfaces.

Meet at Grid ref: SU 258 184 (Map 184), nearest postcode SP5 2AS.

Turn off the A36 onto the B3079 to Bramshaw

Proceed for 1.25 miles to the second lay-by, on the left
