National Insect Week returns in 2020

Insect Drawing & Minibeast Hunt at Little Belhus Country Park

Learn to draw insects, in this one of a kind event.

You will hunt for insects on the way to our makeshift studio for the day and then receive expert tuition from professional artist Jo Beal.

The drawings you make will be used to create artwork for the park which, in turn will help to highlight to visitors the importance of the Country Park for insect life.

To attend this event please register in advance.

Accessibility

The park is easily accessible by car, rail, bus and foot. You will be met in the public car park where the bug hunt will begin and then we will slowly make our way to the studio for the day. The path is flat and the distance is not very far.
