Learn all about insects and their role in the ecosystem at our beautiful Saltbox Hill nature reserve

Celebrate National Insect Week with London Wildlife Trust. Discover how to find and recognise different species, their fascinating lifecycles and how these tiny creatures protect themselves from predators.

Visitors can also take part in our regular butterfly survey from 1pm.

This event is suitable for all ages and abilities. Younger visitors can also take part in nature-themed craft activities.
