Moth Trapping at Abbeyford Woods

Saturday, July 2, 2016 - 21:00

Join the Devon Branch and the Devon Moth Group, moth trapping at this extensive site - the more traps the merrier!

There is a Broadleaved fringe to the wood, which should produce some interesting species in an under recorded square.

The owners are interested in the effects on the moth fauna of recent clear felling of large areas of Larch, and which species colonise these cleared areas.

Meet at 9.00pm at main car park, Grid ref: SX 590 576, nearest postcode PL7 5DP .
