Orchid & Butterfly Walk at Hutchinson's Bank

Sunday, June 24, 2018 - 11:00 to 13:00

A guided wildflower walk through the wonderful surroundings of Hutchinson's Bank

Take a stroll through Hutchinson's Bank nature reserve in New Addington and learn about the orchids and other wildflowers that grow in this beautiful area of chalk downland.

Orchids we should see include pyramidal, common spotted, man, and white helleborine. Butterflies we might see include small blue, chalkhill, dark green fritillary, skipper, green hairstreak, brimstone.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. The terrain is often muddy, uneven, and there are steps and gates to negotiate. There are no toilets on site.

We will be meeting at the end of Farleigh Dean Crescent, New Addington CR0 9AD.
