National Insect Week returns in 2020

Peacock Butterfly Art at Eastleigh Library

Wednesday, June 20, 2018 - 10:00 to 13:00

Aims: to Introduce Students to skills and techniques required to create layered coloured pencil wildlife artwork, to complete a small picture within the session using the materials provided. 

  • Transfer a line drawing onto the support (board)
  • To use appropriate mark making for the subject
  • To indent  the board for white mark making
  • Create own work based on skills taught 

Come and enjoy yourself at this fun and relaxing workshop, suitable for all!

No experience or knowledge is required – the learners does not need to be able to draw “free-hand” as a line drawing is supplied to transfer (copy or trace).

All materials are supplied for the student to use  in the session.
