National Insect Week returns in 2020

Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens Wildlife Day

Sunday, June 24, 2018 - 11:00 to 17:00

We host the Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens Wildlife Day every year to enthuse people about the wildlife in their gardens and provide them with practical tips on how to share even the smallest of spaces with animals, birds and insects.

We’re looking forward to welcoming the following fabulous organisations, who will be exhibiting on the day:

Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Butterfly Conservation Yorkshire, East Yorkshire Bat Group, Hawk and Owl Trust, Natural England, North Yorkshire Rotters, PLACE (People, Landscape And Cultural Environment of Yorkshire), Tansy Beetle Action Group, Yorkshire Amphibian & Reptile Group (ARG) and Yorkshire Mammal Group.

In 2018 our Wildlife Day will be held on Sunday 24th June.

The day will be a celebration of British wildlife, where you can see practical demonstrations of bird ringing and moth-trapping.
