Wimbledon Common Bioblitz - Weekend of Nature

Our annual BioBlitz - Weekend of Nature will take place over the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June.

Join our local volunteer experts and our staff for some fascinating walks to learn about the flora and fauna of our very special Commons!  

Saturday 23rd June

2.00pm - Butterfly and Dragonfly Walk 

5.45pm - Small Mammal Trapping 

21.15pm - Bat Walk and Moth Evening 

Sunday 24th June

6.00am - Small Mammal Trapping

8.00am - Bird Walk 

9.30am - Opening the Moth Trap

10.30am - General Nature Walk 

1.30pm - Talk – Subject TBC

(Booking for events will open in March)

Quekett Microscopical Club 

Children’s Area 

Refreshment area - Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available all day

Booking is required for some of the guided walks
