National Insect Week returns in 2020

Gwent Wildlife Trust

Gwent Wildlife Trust

Gwent Wildlife Trust celebrates its 50th birthday in 2013. From humble beginnings, the Trust now has more than 10,000 members, 30 nature reserves, 2 education centres and an active programme of over 100 events, fun-days & activities each year. We have a vision of an environment rich in wildlife for everyone. We work to rebuild biodiversity & reconnect people with their environment. We manage land, campaign against damaging developments and promote enjoyment & appreciation of the natural world.

Did you know?

Most unappetizing?

Most cultures, except those originating from NW Europe, eat insects such as deep fried cockroaches and midge paté.
