93 days to go to National Insect Week

Forestry Commission

This summer, the Forestry Commission is celebrating its incredible insects with the Friend or Foe Trail.  Some insects sting or bite, but many are essential for pollination plants, and as food for other animals. Follow the trail at 15 sites across England and learn all about forest insects - the good stuff and the bad, then you decide whether each insect is a friend or a foe. For a list of participating sites, please email or visit

Please follow the link to the Forestry Commission website for resources from National Insect Week 2014.
